1. Scope of service

Flikker provides tooling for structuring project-based work: contracts, milestones, client-funded steps and payout timing via Stripe Connect. Funds are collected and held by Stripe as delayed payouts per milestone until approval. Flikker is not a party to the underlying service contract between client and provider.

2. Accounts & responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information in your account.
• You are responsible for the content of projects, contracts, milestones and files you upload.
• Clients and providers are solely responsible for the underlying work and outcomes.

3. Fees & billing

Flikker charges a platform fee according to your selected plan. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and card details are never stored by Flikker.

Platform fees are separate from Stripe's own processing fees, which are charged by Stripe. Fees, minimums and payout timing are shown clearly in the app before you start a project. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

4. Approvals & payouts

• Funds are collected and held by Stripe (via Stripe Connect) as delayed payouts per milestone until a funded milestone is approved.
• Approving a funded milestone triggers payout from Stripe to the provider's connected account according to the configured payout schedule.
• Disputes are handled under the terms in your project contract and our dispute process as described in-app.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Flikker for fraud, illegal activities, money laundering, or abusive behaviour towards other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create unreasonable risk for other users or for the platform.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flikker's total liability for any claims relating to the service is limited to the platform fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Flikker is not liable for the performance of client or provider, or for the outcome of their contract.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date and, if changes are material, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
